Bridie Weaver is visual artist living and working in Central Queensland, Australia. With a practice spanning the disciplines of printmaking, installation, sculpture, and projection art, Weaver investigates the fragments of place that we carry with us. Recently working with the content of dreamscape, history, and memory, she seeks to express the instability of remembered and imagined places.
I would like to respectfully acknowledge the Gangulu people, the traditional owners of the land on which I live and work. I acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging and their continuing connection to the land, skies and waters.
